Establish Yourself as a Firmware Visionary

As a Principal Firmware Engineer, you'll take the lead in developing and guiding new embedded firmware systems from conceptualization through production releases. Your expertise will be pivotal in harnessing microcontrollers, digital signal processors, and peripheral communication protocols.

  • Drive firmware development and engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions
  • Design, code, unit test, and debug applications using C and C++ embedded programming for bare metal and/or RTOS
  • Integrate firmware with embedded systems, working with microcontrollers, digital signal processors, and peripheral communication over SPI, I2C, UART, I2S, Single Wire Interfaces, I/O, and USB
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, apply metrics for code quality, and participate in software verification activities
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of application of UML, Systems Thinking, and state-of-the-art software development practices
  • Deliver high-quality design documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, and clear testable code

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in firmware engineering, including a minimum of 5 years working with medical devices. A BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or an equivalent combination of relevant coursework and job-related experience is required.
