As an Electronics Technician in Townsville, you will play a vital role in supporting and maintaining the electronics behind our armoured vehicle fleet. Our team is seeking a skilled individual to join us in this exciting opportunity.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing specialised electronic, electrical and mechanical tests and fault finding activities. They will also troubleshoot turret and vehicle systems to determine operating problems and malfunctions, and recommend repairs to restore systems to normal operating status.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex electronic, electrical and mechanical test and fault finding activities.
  • Troubleshoot turret and vehicle systems to identify and resolve operating issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities performed and analyse data collected.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as an electronics technician on Defence related vehicles such as M1A1-2, ASLAV, M88A2.
  • Possession of an electronics/electrical trade qualification or similar.
  • Experience working with or for Defence is highly desirable.
