Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of operational responsibilities of the Business Services team, ensuring efficient, high-quality financial services.
  • Preparation of financial accounts, tax returns, and associated documentation for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
  • Management and review of tax compliance assignments, including annual financial statements and activity statements.
  • Leverage expertise to manage tax issues like PSI, Division 7A, and CGT matters.
  • Assistance with preparation and lodgement of IAS/BAS returns, working directly with the ATO.
  • Cultivation and maintenance of strong relationships with both domestic and international clients.
  • Support to the Management Accountant with data entry and bookkeeping for local and international clients.

What You Bring:

  • 5-6 years of post-graduate experience as a Business Services Accountant, with a strong track record.
  • 3+ years of experience in building and maintaining client relationships, especially with international clients.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with familiarity in APS, Handi Soft, ATO Portal, Class Super, and Xero.
  • CA or CPA qualified with a passion for continuous professional development.

Salary: The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
