Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to fill a key role within our Commercial Department. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a pivotal part in supporting onsite accounting processes and collaborating with site departments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Administration:
    • Prepare bank reconciliations, Intercompany reconciliation, GRNI reconciliation, and manage accounts receivable.
  • Capital Module Management:
    • Maintain the capital module within Pronto including Work Breakdown Structures and end of month reconciliations.
    • Maintain the fixed asset register within Pronto.
  • Accounting Support:
    • Assist with month end accounting processes including transaction review, cost review, cost reporting, and trend analysis.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist with the preparation of site wide budgets and quarterly forecasts.
    • P present information to various stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • Accounting experience, book keeping or recently completed/progressing to complete accounting tertiary study.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Intermediate level computer literacy in the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel).
  • Professional Attributes:
    • Previous experience in a role managing priorities, communicating across multiple levels in an organisation.
    • Must reside locally in the region.
    • National Police Clearance less than twelve (12) months.
    • Current Unencumbered Drivers Licence.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Industry Experience:
    • Previous experience preferably within the industry.
  • ERP Software Proficiency:
    • Working experience in the use of Pronto Financials Software, or similar ERP.
