Job Description

Work as part of a team of professional staff engaged in the molecular diagnosis of acquired, inherited and infectious diseases.

Contribute to the provision of effective pathology services in Haematology.

Under general guidance from the Scientist in Charge Haematology, perform professional work in one or more sections of the Pathology Department.

Participation in the out of hours call-back service roster is a requirement of this role.

This is a shift work position requiring staff to work out of hours as rostered.

As defined within the Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award: 'Shift Work' means work performed in accordance with a roster and may include day shift, afternoon shift, night shift and Saturdays and Sundays.
