Senior Insurance Actuary

This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to projects that shape the practices and prudential regulation of insurers in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of health insurance specialists.
  • Engage with stakeholders to develop and deliver quality insurance and actuarial advice.
  • Contribute to the development of prudential standards and guidelines.
  • Assess insurer practices to address key risks, including undertaking off-site and on-site reviews.
  • Develop and implement activities that contribute to sound supervision outcomes pursuant to regulatory requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will have highly developed technical expertise in health insurance matters and well-developed people management skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams, developing and delivering quality insurance and actuarial advice, and contributing to the development of prudential standards and guidelines.
