Energy Markets Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Energy Markets Consultant to join our team at ERM Energetics. As a key member of our Energy Markets team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of the energy market and achieve their clean energy goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement approaches to the management of energy market risks for large commercial and industrial customers and renewable energy generators.
- Work closely with clients to design and model energy contract structures, and implement long-term risk management strategies tailored to their specific risk appetite, portfolios, and operational capabilities.
- Manage client relationships and deliver client work, coordinating the work of team members, managing project budgets, and ensuring we support our clients to reach their clean energy goals.
- At least 5 years' experience in energy markets, especially power markets.
- Demonstrated quantitative skillset, working with or managing advanced risk analytics.
- Proven advanced MS Excel and Python programming skills.
- Project management experience: managing quality, budget, timelines, and project risks to the satisfaction of the clients while meeting internal project performance targets.
