Workshop Coordination Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all service activities in the workshop, ensuring they are carried out in line with company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate and assist supervising workshop staff on repairs of equipment and components in accordance with manufacturers' standards within the laid down time frame.
- Issue appropriate documents and work instructions to workshop technicians and apprentices to ensure there is a complete understanding of work requirements and labour times on each job or task.
- Maximise own and team labour output through job control and communication with workshop staff.
- At all times, apply safe working practices, including a high standard of housekeeping.
- Ensure employees and sub-contractors adhere to the Company's HSE requirements.
- Assist Workshop Supervisor with job estimations and planning, including job progress.
- Provide technical support and product information to staff and customers when required in a professional and efficient manner.
- Liaise with customers and staff in a courteous manner using the Customer Support Charter as the guiding principles of all interactions.
The ideal candidate will have previous leading hand experience, strong communication skills, and be a key team player. They will also have basic to intermediate computer knowledge/skills and be certified as a Tradesperson.
