About the Position

The Team Leader assumes a pivotal role in delivering superior care to residents at all times. They collaborate with the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse in overseeing and coordinating care across the home, ensuring each resident's individual needs, wishes, and goals are met with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver social and emotional support to residents, fostering holistic and person-centred care.
  • Support the coordination of residents' care needs, including medication management, nutrition, and hydration, pressure care management.
  • Lead and supervise care on the shift, within designated wings or areas.
  • Perform medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation, and policies.
About You
  • Relevant qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines) or Certificate III in Individual Support with willingness to undertake training.
  • High level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • An effective listener with ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand and use information technology and programs, and learn new skills as required.
  • Current National police check.
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
