Senior Care Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Care Leader to lead our team of care and nursing staff. This is a full-time role that requires a commitment to quality, resident-focused care.
As a Senior Care Leader, you will be responsible for leading your team in providing exceptional clinical care and services to all residents. You will work collaboratively with the senior management team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Our ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience as a Registered Nurse and outstanding leadership skills. They will also have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents, and a strong understanding of the ageing process.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of care and nursing staff to provide high-quality clinical care and services to residents.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Collaborate with the senior management team to ensure effective working arrangements with visiting medical practitioners and other allied health professionals.
- Supervise nursing staff and personal care assistants to ensure they are meeting the required standards of contemporary best practice.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff to achieve organisational goals.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Understanding of the ageing process and a commitment to caring for older people.
- Registration with AHPRA.
