About The Role

We need an experienced professional to join our Data Services team and help us take our database systems to the next level.

As a Database Specialist, you'll work closely with our engineering and customer support teams to ensure the smooth operation of our data components. You'll be responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of Cassandra, Elastic Search/OpenSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

You'll develop infrastructure services to support our full devops model, troubleshoot production issues, and keep petabytes of critical business data safe, secure, and available.

This role requires strong configuration management skills, proficiency in Python and bash scripting, and experience with large-scale datastores. You should be comfortable working in cloud environments, preferably Amazon Web Services, GCP, or OCI.

As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate effectively with both local and remote colleagues, making great decisions when it matters most, and communicating your ideas clearly.
