Job Description

As an Engineering Data Support specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining engineering master data in a SAP environment. This critical role involves supporting preventive maintenance, calibration, and materials management across manufacturing sites.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and maintain engineering master data in SAP (Assets, PM schedules, Calibration, Materials)
  • Perform data cleansing, transformation, and uploads using tools like LSMW
  • Respond to service requests and troubleshoot system issues
  • Conduct system testing and support upgrades or fixes
  • Generate reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI to support decision-making
  • Deliver training to new users and support continuous improvement
  • Ensure data quality and compliance with GMP and regulatory standards
Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Science, or 3+ years in a similar technical role
  • 2–5 years' experience in engineering data, maintenance systems, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Strong SAP experience (S/4HANA preferred); LSMW desirable
  • Advanced Excel and familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or QlikSense
  • Understanding of GMP/cGMP and quality systems in regulated environments
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication
