Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee Daily Warehouse Activities: Manage the daily functions of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient and precise handling of automotive components and materials.
  2. Leadership and Development: Guide, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse personnel, promoting a culture centered on safety, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
  3. Inventory Oversight: Ensure accurate inventory documentation, perform regular stock assessments, and facilitate timely stock replenishment to align with production requirements.
  4. Enhance Operational Processes: Identify and implement process enhancements to boost productivity, minimize waste, and elevate overall warehouse effectiveness.
  5. Quality Assurance: Confirm that all incoming and outgoing shipments adhere to quality benchmarks, and manage the resolution of any inconsistencies.
  6. Safety Standards Enforcement: Uphold safety regulations and protocols, conduct safety training sessions, and guarantee that the warehouse environment complies with industry safety standards.
  7. Collaborative Coordination: Partner closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to synchronize operations, ensuring timely delivery of components to support production timelines.
  8. Performance Reporting: Compile and present regular reports regarding warehouse performance, inventory status, and operational efficiency to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, ideally within the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
  2. Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record in team management and staff development.
  3. Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, inventory oversight, and logistics.
  4. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
  5. Robust problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset towards process enhancement.
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  7. In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within a warehouse setting.
