Your Role
As the Afternoon Shift Operations Supervisor, you will lead the day-to-day activities of a dedicated team of warehouse professionals, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of goods for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the daily volume of inbound and outbound orders, ensuring timely completion within expected timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant day-to-day operations of the warehouse
- Lead and/or contribute to talent acquisition and development activities, including recruiting, labour hire engagement, performance management, coaching, and training
- Support the site to meet or exceed targets for safety, environment, warehouse KPIs, Kaizen, LEAN, service delivery, profit, and loss
- Develop and foster a healthy culture around safety, operational excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Experience in supervising or managing 3PL warehouse operations in any industry or a willingness to step up to this level
- Ability to coach, develop, and engage an operational team
- Good written and verbal communication, customer service, management, and influencing skills
- Sound troubleshooting and problem-solving capability, commercial acumen, and numeracy skills
- Basic-intermediate experience in MS Office applications and ability to learn new systems, software, and technologies
