Aircraft Surface Finisher - Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and certify tasks, including surface coating applications and aircraft markings in various environments.
  • Collaborate with maintenance planning on servicing tasks for aircraft.
  • Certify completed tasks using an electronic system.
  • Maintain accurate records for paint facility components.
  • Perform touch-ups on unit vehicles as needed.
  • Execute surface finisher tasks according to specifications.
  • Manage supplies for surface finisher tasks.
  • Evaluate and report safety issues in the paint shop.
  • Develop and train junior technicians in surface finishing techniques.
  • Oversee SURFIN operations to ensure quality standards are met.
Necessary Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Aeroskills (Surface Finishing)
  • Class C driver's license
  • Australian Citizenship with clearance eligibility

Compensation Package: Estimated annual salary range $62,500 - $105,600 AUD, commensurate with experience.
