About the Role

Ventia Pty Limited has been awarded a maintenance contract to deliver soft services to 1,835 TasWater sites across Tasmania.

This role reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for coordinating and managing all soft services delivered to TasWater sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure statutory maintenance is provided and measured to all TasWater sites.
  • Deliver services in accordance with the agreed scope and quality.
  • Manage annual budgets and procure services upon expiry of existing arrangements.
  • Provide leadership and direction to delivery teams.
  • Monitor financial performance and review Ventia plant and equipment utilisation.
  • Ensure contractor compliance to Ventia procedures and policies.
  • Manage in-house resources and coordinate call-out procedures.
  • Identify and champion business efficiencies to increase revenue and margin.
Requirements
  • Background in a Trade (Mechanical / Fire Safety / Compliance) or similar.
  • Experience working in a similar role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cost planning and strong financial acumen.
  • Excellent oral and written skills, with experience in preparing proposals.
  • High level of computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD, and SAP Project System.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as a team member.
  • Demonstrated exposure to utility infrastructure across a geographical spread.
