We are seeking a highly skilled Rail Supervisor to work on upcoming projects in Tasmania. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of rail infrastructure projects in a safe, efficient, timely, and cost-effective manner.

This role will be site-based at Western Junction and will involve regular travel throughout Tasmania. The Rail Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating with the Project Manager to deliver successful rail projects.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Effectively assigning tasks to team members.
  • Monitoring project progress against programmed and budget targets.
  • Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with client standards.
  • Planning and scheduling work, and allocating resources to meet project objectives.
  • Providing guidance and training to junior staff and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in the rail industry, preferably with a focus on rail construction.
  • TPO/PIC qualifications.
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card).
  • Rail Industry Worker Card (RIW).
  • 5 years experience in Rail.
  • Certificate 2 in Rail Infrastructure.
  • Certificate 3 in Track Hand Back Qualifications.
  • CAT 1 Medical.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
