Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at UGL, a leading provider of end-to-end engineering, construction and maintenance services. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a number of projects located in the North-West of Tasmania, including the Ulverstone STP Upgrade, Smithton Sewage Pump Station Upgrade & Burnie RC Trunk Main Renewal.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute and finalize projects for delivery to our clients.
- Manage project teams to accurately and timely deliver projects according to schedule, budget and scope.
- Oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle and ensure that projects meet objectives and deliverables.
- Focus on acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members to ensure that clients' needs are delivered in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
- Extensive project management experience working on large infrastructure projects, preferably in the water infrastructure sector.
- Relevant project management accreditation, such as Australian Institute Project Management (AIPM), PMBOK, Diploma, PMP or equivalent.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of construction principles in a multi-discipline contracting environment.
- High level of business and commercial acumen, backed by a sound ability to create, read and interpret budgets, financial statements and analyze variance reports.
