Our organisation seeks an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join its Finance team. This role plays a crucial part in driving financial efficiency, compliance and transparency across Residential Aged Care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transactions & Compliance – Manage funding claims, accounts and regulatory billing to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Accounts & Reconciliations – Oversee payables/receivables and ensure accurate reconciliations, maintaining the highest level of precision.
  • Resident & Client Support – Handle admissions, discharges, refunds and maintain transaction transparency, providing exceptional support to residents and clients.
  • Documentation & Contracts – Review and maintain agreements, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, upholding our commitment to excellence.
  • Government Reporting – Track notifications and update funding and resident records, facilitating seamless communication with government agencies.
  • Data & Insights – Prepare financial reports, analyse trends and provide valuable insights to improve services, driving continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and support the development of efficient systems and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years in business support, financial administration or a similar role.
  • Diploma in Business Administration, Finance or a related field (highly regarded).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • High level of accuracy and compliance focus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
