About the Role

As a seasoned maintenance leader, you will oversee the upkeep of our busy manufacturing site. Your key responsibility will be to ensure plant and equipment are running at peak performance.

This hands-on leadership role involves leading a skilled team of trades and technicians, managing contractors, and working closely with production and operations to achieve targets safely and efficiently.

  • You will lead, mentor, and support your team members
  • Rapidly respond to equipment failures to minimize downtime
  • Promote preventative and predictive maintenance strategies
  • Oversee the use of CMMS systems, schedules, and asset management
  • Manage contractor performance and compliance
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to align priorities
  • Foster a strong safety culture and maintain WHS compliance
  • Support capital planning and improvement projects

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance manager or supervisor in manufacturing
  • Strong technical knowledge across plant and equipment maintenance
  • Awareness of CMMS systems and maintenance planning
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Effective problem-solving skills and practical execution focus
  • Contractor management and WHS compliance expertise
  • Background in plastics, polymers, packaging, or FMCG (desired)
