As a Technical Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to assist authorized users with desktop support as required by their specific situations (e.g., incidents, service requests, inquiries) while adhering to established service levels.

In the initial weeks of your role, you can anticipate:

  • Implementing a pre-approved image of the desktop operating system to user workstations upon request.
  • Installing desktop applications on user workstations following necessary approvals.
  • Conducting administrative tasks related to email setup and configuration.

To be successful in this role, your skills and experience should encompass:

  • Providing support and installation services for desktop computing hardware, peripherals, and associated software.
  • Overseeing technology in meeting environments (e.g., wall-mounted displays, projectors, IP telephony, video conferencing tools), as well as managing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) services (e.g., Citrix/Microsoft) and Office 365 Suites.
