Geotechnical Engineer

This role will see you enhance your expertise and contribute to high-quality project deliverables. You will collaborate with professionals on complex projects, working across various sustaining capital initiatives, including heavy haul rail projects and mine developments.

  • You'll be responsible for undertaking field and office-based assignments under the guidance of senior engineers, ensuring tasks are completed to quality and safety standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of geotechnical designs, technical reports, specifications, and engineering drawings, contributing to successful project outcomes.
  • Interpret field and laboratory data to support the development of geotechnical models and design recommendations.

About the Role:

  • A bachelor's degree in Geology, Geoscience, or Civil Engineering is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a Geo role, preferably on mining, rail, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical data management packages, such as OpenGround and gINT, and GIS applications like GlobalMapper is necessary.

  • An ability to work collaboratively within a team-driven environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
