Job Title: Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced operations manager to join our team. Located in the heart of Sydney, we offer a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service.

The Role:

This is a rare opportunity to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Front Office department, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, accurate administration, and compliance with company policies.

  • Supervise front office staff, including rostering and workforce leadership.
  • Evaluate and improve guest satisfaction levels by promptly resolving issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, complaints, and solutions provided.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for room status and guest needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during emergencies or critical situations.

We value collaboration and inclusivity within our team. You will be expected to work within a 7-day roster, which may include weekends and public holidays. Ideal candidates will possess strong problem-solving skills, be well-organized, and thrive in a team environment.

A strong background in IT is essential, particularly experience using Opera PMS. Additional responsibilities include promoting the hotel effectively and communicating efficiently across various internal and external stakeholders.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have previous experience in a similar operations management position, preferably in the hotel industry. You will be an effective communicator, a natural problem solver, and a detail-oriented individual who values teamwork.
