About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced formulation chemist to join our team at Eureka, a proud business partner of Elders. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for developing innovative formulations, creating test samples, and scaling up product candidates for production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality formulations that meet our clients' needs.
  • Create accurate and detailed reports documenting research and findings.
  • Conduct quality control testing of finished products, raw materials, in-process materials, and environmental samples to support manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with laboratory managers to create procedures for the manufacture of new products.
  • Effectively communicate project progress and any issues or risks to the laboratory manager.
  • Maintain laboratory facilities, equipment, and consumables to ensure optimal functionality.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant science discipline, such as chemistry, pharmaceutical science, or formulation science.
  • A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow in your role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Well-developed planning and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the capacity to address challenges effectively.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
