We are seeking a dedicated Registered Midwife to join our Aboriginal health workforce program. This locum-based role offers short-term placements in remote Northern Territory communities, where you will work on-site in clinics, delivering culturally safe care in collaboration with local healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality midwifery care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients
  • Work collaboratively with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff
Requirements:
  • Evidence of unrestricted registration as registered nurse and registered midwife with AHPRA
  • Minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience in midwifery
  • Minimum of 2 years postgraduate experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 250 hours relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Recognised Immunisation certificate
  • Northern Territory Working with Children's Card (or willing to obtain)
