**Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager - Operations Lead to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • **Budget Accountability:** Manage and oversee the production budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • **Production Efficiency:** Optimize production processes to maximize output and minimize downtime.
  • **End-to-End Shift Management:** Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, ensuring smooth operation of the manufacturing process.
  • **Process Improvement:** Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • **Driving a Safety and Quality Culture:** Foster a culture of safety and quality within the production team, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • **Proven Experience:** Minimum 3 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • **Leadership Skills:** Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • **Communication Skills:** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, and external stakeholders.
  • **Analytical Skills:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
