Clinical Research Scientist in Pediatric Audiology

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading and engaging in the initiation, design, planning, and execution of research initiatives focused on pediatric hearing loss, adhering to organizational project protocols.
- Analyzing and interpreting research data while providing support to colleagues in data analysis and interpretation.
- Disseminating research outcomes through high-quality publications in international peer-reviewed journals and presenting findings at relevant conferences, both as a lead author and co-author.
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining collaborative relationships within the field of pediatric audiology.
- Staying updated with advancements relevant to the organization's objectives and exploring opportunities to integrate innovative scientific ideas.
- Overseeing and managing team members within the department.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should possess:
- The ability to design and implement studies in areas such as language, neuroscience, hearing (e.g., speech perception), and cognitive science. Experience with neuroimaging techniques (EEG/FNIRS/MEG) and/or pediatric research is advantageous but not essential.
- A solid understanding of hearing loss, audiological service delivery, and the hearing rehabilitation sector, particularly in early intervention.
- Proficiency in data management, manipulation, and statistical methodologies.
- Experience in managing team members or supervising students.
- Desirable qualitative research skills.
- A Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline related to audiological or hearing research is preferred but not mandatory.
- A proven track record of peer-reviewed publications and/or independent or collaborative research is advantageous but not essential.
