Elevation Secondary College is an evidence-based school in Melbourne's Northern growth corridor, servicing the rapidly growing and aspirational communities of Aston and Highlands Estates.
We opened our doors in 2020 to a purpose-built, state-of-the-art educational facility with Science, Technology and Arts buildings. In 2025, our school grew to over 1100 students from Year 7-12.

The role of the classroom teacher includes:- Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;
- Contributing to curriculum development and evaluation;
- Undertaking classroom teaching related duties as determined by the School Principal;
- Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings and camps.
This role focuses on developing skills and competencies to become an effective classroom practitioner with structured support. Teachers plan and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes.
Teachers participate in policy development and assist in implementing school priorities. The focus is on classroom management, subject content and teaching practice.
New entrants to the teaching profession receive structured support, mentoring and guidance from higher-level teachers. They will plan and teach student groups and participate in professional learning activities.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and dedicated educator who can inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential. They will be passionate about teaching and committed to providing high-quality education to students.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues. They will be flexible, adaptable and able to work well under pressure.
A degree in education or a related field is essential, along with relevant teaching experience. A working knowledge of curriculum design and implementation is also required.
