Certificate III Educator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team in this rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe children and assist with their portfolios and learning stories.
  • Work within the guidelines of relevant national laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to the development of quality programs that enhance learning outcomes for children.
  • Supervise children at all times whilst on duty.
  • Support the day-to-day running of a program that has been planned for the children.
  • Assist with daily care routines.
  • Provide guidance and support to other educators as needed.
  • Participate in additional program activities such as parent information sessions.
  • Maintain and implement workplace health and safety practices.
  • Use safe food handling techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and children.

Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification (Certificate III or equivalent)
  • Strong observational and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children in an early childhood education setting
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
  • First aid qualifications
  • Ability to speak more than one language
