Teaching and Assessment Professional for Vocational Education

Casual Sessional Teachers are required to deliver course material, assess students, and supervise students enrolled in selected courses within the program. The role involves participating in the program's continuing review of course content and development, delivery, teaching methods (including online delivery methods), and assessment methods.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering to students of Certificate IV – Training and Assessment, managing a dynamic classroom environment, inspiring students to succeed, working closely with partnership teams and managers, delivery, assessment, and administration of student outcomes, participation in a diverse workforce, and supporting an inclusive culture.

About YouAs a Casual Sessional Teacher within Vocational Education, you will teach into our Dual Diploma of Business and Leadership and Management programs embedded with our sporting industry partners. You will have experience in the TAE50116 – Diploma Of Vocational Education and Training or its equivalent; current industry experience in our subject offerings; passion for education and the teaching profession; demonstrated experience teaching in Vocational Education is desirable; and the ability to travel to all locations as required.
Benefits and IncentivesRMIT offers a salary range of approximately $80-$120 per hour based on your skills and qualifications.
