About the RoleSwinburne is embarking on an exciting journey, working towards its vision of bringing people and technology together to build a better world. The Trades Engineering and Technology Department seeks suitably qualified and experienced casual teachers to meet expected further growth.
Key Responsibilities- Implement industry best practice and apply current learning technologies and contemporary learning pedagogies.
- Work collaboratively within a passionate team of education professionals to plan, deliver, assess, evaluate, and ensure compliance of high-quality education and training programs.
- Customise and adapt programs to meet learners' and clients' needs at various levels from certificate to diploma and associate degree.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to have:
- Vocational experience relevant to the nominated teaching programs.
- Demonstrated excellence or capacity to implement high-quality approaches in teaching and assessment using diverse student learning modes.
- Demonstrated experience or the capacity to develop learning and assessment resources.
- Understanding of current VET policy and developments, along with innovative approaches to vocational education and training.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or its successor).
- Vocational qualification in Engineering (Mechanical and/or Fabrication) applicable to Vocational Education programs.
