Job Overview

The role of an HR Operations Specialist is to provide strategic support to the organization's human resources initiatives. This position is responsible for preparing and managing HR documentation, immigration, and visa-related queries, as well as providing administrative support to HR Advisors and Business Partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases in line with privacy and compliance requirements.
  • Manage and process immigration and visa-related queries, ensuring adherence to legislation and company policies.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to HR Advisors and Business Partners, ensuring seamless delivery of HR services.
  • Assist in the performance review process, including data collection and coordination of feedback sessions, to drive employee growth and development.
  • Maintain awareness of employment law changes and ensure compliance across the business, recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Prepare HR metrics and reports to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Support HR projects aimed at improving processes, enhancing employee experience, and driving organisational effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Human Resources or related field, with a strong understanding of modern awards and enterprise agreements.
  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience, with a focus on operational management and administration.
  • Experience drafting and generating employment contracts, as well as managing sponsorship visa applications and working rights to visas.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy in document handling and data entry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Workday experience highly advantageous, but not essential.
