As a dedicated educator in nursing, your primary responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering engaging education practices that cater to diverse learners.
- Ensuring teaching materials meet regulatory standards and training requirements.
- Fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student autonomy and responsibility.
- Adapting curricula to accommodate various learning styles, environments, and resources.
- Providing administrative support for teaching programs and related services.
- Collaborating with colleagues to establish, maintain, and review teaching programs.
- Creating a respectful and safe learning space free from discrimination, bullying, and harassment.
You are a highly motivated individual with expertise in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select, and utilize a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.
Qualifications Required for the Role- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40112) or equivalent qualifications meeting Standards for RTOs 2015.
- Vocational qualifications at AQF level Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Relevant vocational qualifications and experience in mental health care settings.
- Record of Vocational Competency mapped to engaged Units of Competency.
- Record of Professional Currency demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge.
Desirable:
- Post-graduate qualification in mental health.
