Regulatory Compliance Specialist Role

This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne. The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will have a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analysing regulatory changes impacting the superannuation industry, conducting impact assessments to evaluate implications for operations, products, and compliance obligations.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyse regulatory changes impacting the superannuation industry.
  • Conduct impact assessments to evaluate implications for operations, products, and compliance obligations.
  • Collaborate with teams and facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment on regulatory requirements and expectations.
  • Maintain regulatory change registers and prepare reports for senior management and governance committees.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements related to regulatory compliance, ensuring ongoing compliance and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management within the superannuation or financial services industries. Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex regulatory concepts clearly, are essential for success in this role.
