About Eye Tech Day Surgeries we are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly healthcare team on a Permanent full-time basis.

The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for all Medical Reception duties including patient admissions, discharge and data entry of patient information, as well as the accurate and timely preparation of theatre lists. You will be required to professionally deal with and respond to all incoming telephone calls, maintain medical records and data bases including billing of patient accounts. The role also entails general filing and administration duties.

**Job Requirements**:

- Completion of the Mater Hospital Medical Terminology course would be highly regarded
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of privacy and confidentiality within the healthcare environment
- Ability to produce high quality accurate work, prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Working as part of a team and capable of undertaking a variety of reception and administration tasks in a busy working environment.
