Cyber Security Risk Analyst Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Risk Analyst to join our team at ING Australia. As a key member of our security team, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and managing the Bank's cyber security environment across the Australia region.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive and positive individual with a curious mindset to make a significant impact on our organization's security posture. You will work closely with our tech teams to identify and mitigate system vulnerabilities and weaknesses, ensuring the highest level of security for our customers and employees.
Responsibilities- Investigate and respond to security queries and escalations from internal and external sources, including managing events from detection to classification as an incident, and through to closure.
- Threat modeling, identifying current and emerging technology issues including security trends, vulnerabilities, and threats.
- Collaborate with Tech teams to ensure that system vulnerabilities and weaknesses are identified and tracked to closure.
- Work with the ING Global Security team as a local virtual team member.
- Manage and articulate tasks independently with minor supervision.
- Effectively manage Security Monitoring related backlogs and priorities according to department/organization goals.
- Experience with security technologies, vulnerability, and compliance scanning tools.
- Proven experience with Server Operating Systems (Windows / Linux) and network technologies (switches, firewall, proxy servers).
- Experience in security information and event management systems, password, and privileged access management systems.
- Knowledge of scripting languages with minimum 2-3 years IT security experience.
