We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Defence Analyst to join our team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and influence defensive operations in a greenfield SOC environment.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience working in real-time security operations, with a strong background in triage and investigation. They will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of security incidents, using their deep knowledge of operating systems to identify and mitigate threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage and investigation of security incidents
  • Deep understanding of operating systems, including Windows and Linux
  • Familiarity with SIM + EDR tooling, including Splunk and threat intel platforms
  • Shift coverage, including weekends
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in SOC environments
  • Hands-on experience with OS knowledge, particularly on server infrastructure
  • SIM + EDR tooling expertise
  • Strong analytical approach to complex security challenges
