We are seeking a skilled Business Development Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling one of the broadest mortgage product suites available in today's market.
You will work alongside our National Business Development Managers to maintain existing clients and establish new relationships through accredited national aggregator groups and mortgage brokers.
The successful candidate will have the ability to self-manage and meet sales targets while improving the customer experience from its already high standards.
- Maintain and grow an already successful third-party mortgage broker network for residential and commercial mortgages.
- Manage a portfolio of brokers and aggregator groups to achieve set targets, enhance existing relationships, and further build portfolio.
- Communicate the benefits and advantages of our broad product range.
- Promote us in a professional manner and demonstrate our corporate values at all times.
- Attend professional development days.
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate and resolve complaints effectively.
- Achieve sales targets through growth.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism with all brokers, borrowers, and national BDMs.
- Plan and manage calendars efficiently.
About You:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role with strong understanding and experience in Residential and Commercial Mortgages.
- Experience in sales and proven ability to network and build relationships.
- Ability to present professionally to large groups face-to-face or virtually.
- Ability to identify priorities aligned with business goals.
- Capacity to undertake all levels of the sales process; Broker, Aggregator, and Referrer.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
