We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Central Coast Council. As a key member of our Water and Sewer Project Delivery team, you will be responsible for providing timely, cost-effective, and reliable delivery of water and sewerage operations, maintenance, and project activities in accordance with set performance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and implement capital works programs, including detailed project planning and coordination.
- Monitor and report on asset performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide quality customer service and create value for the community through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Current Class C Driver's License.
- Valid Construction General Induction Card - NSW WorkCover or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality work within established timeframes.
- Experience in preparing contract documentation and specifications.
- A competitive salary range of $85.8k - $103k plus 11.5% Superannuation and 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance.
- A 9-day fortnight and hybrid work conditions, with 2 days working from home and 3 days on-site.
