Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team. As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the home is safe, well-maintained, and compliant by delivering quality preventative and corrective maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining plant, equipment, building and services
  • Ensuring up-to-date records of all chemicals in use and compliant with appropriate safety and best practice
  • Maintaining the grounds in a neat and tidy manner
  • Identifying preventative maintenance requirements, completing the works and documentation of schedules
  • Ensuring preventative and corrective maintenance is actioned within legal requirements and documented in the relevant registers

Requirements:

  • General hands-on maintenance or handyman skills
  • Maintenance of grounds, general painting skills, maintaining garden beds and knowledge of gardening equipment would be preferred
  • Experience in supervision or coordination of maintenance programs
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
