Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct diagnostic assessments and provide treatment and counseling to clients
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
* Collaborate with other professionals to ensure transparent program initiatives
* Conduct initial intake assessments and comprehensive assessments to determine programs are tailored to each individual need
* Relate to young people in a manner that is relevant and appropriate for their cognitive level of functioning
* Review program needs regularly to ensure best fit for program
* Write program reports and assessment reports as required
Requirements:
* Degree Qualified
* Professional Liability Insurance
* Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) – Psychology Board of Australia
* Demonstrated ability to comply with the profession's code of ethics and practice in accordance with legislation affecting psychology practice for maintenance of registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
* Current Medicare Registration or eligibility and willingness to obtain registration prior to commencement of the role/when eligible
* Valid Working with Children's Check
