Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and empathetic Psychologist to join our team. As a Psychologist at Brave Psychology, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based psychological interventions and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients with mild to moderate mental health conditions or complex presentations.
- Provide psychological treatment and counselling via individual and group sessions, including diagnostic assessments and risk assessments.
- Communicate effectively with other professionals to ensure transparent program initiatives and maintain confidentiality.
- Develop and deliver psychoeducational group sessions and provide education to non-program staff as required.
- Comply with all professional development and supervision requirements as per APS guidelines and frameworks.
- Degree qualification in Psychology and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) – Psychology Board of Australia.
- Current Medicare Registration or eligibility and willingness to obtain registration prior to commencement of the role/when eligible.
- A valid Working with Children's Check.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and/or as a sole professional in this environment.
- Effective verbal and written skills, with particular emphasis on interpersonal communication skills, establishing trust and rapport, maintaining confidentiality, and record keeping.
