Infrastructure Reporting Specialist for Melbourne's Westgate Tunnel Project

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Reporting Specialist to join our project team on the Westgate Tunnel Project. This 12-month fixed-term position offers the opportunity to work on one of Melbourne's biggest infrastructure projects, addressing pressing transport challenges and contributing to lasting positive changes.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for project quality and completion data reporting, engaging with external stakeholders, and developing insightful dashboards using PowerBI and MS Excel. A strong analytical mind and transferrable skills, including high-level data manipulation and technical proficiency with MS Excel and data visualisation tools, are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain robust data reporting systems to ensure accurate and reliable project progress and performance metrics
- Engage directly with external stakeholders, including the Construction Contractor and Independent Reviewer, to capture data and conduct quality control checks
- Hone analytical skills and PowerBI capability to extract, manipulate, and interpret data into actionable insights
- Interface with the construction team to understand project challenges and translate requirements into timely, accurate, and meaningful reporting and dashboards
- High level data manipulation, analysis, and reporting capability, with expertise in MS Excel and data visualisation tools, such as PowerBI
- Advanced technical proficiency with PowerBI and/or Tableau, with experience in developing new and improved systems and reporting practices
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as science, mathematics, economics, or statistics
- Analytical and incisive mindset with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and ability to spot issues and use own ingenuity to solve problems collaboratively
- A range of flexible working options, including full-time or part-time (4 days per week) arrangements
- 16 weeks paid parental leave, with no waiting period, available for the duration of the contract, with Superannuation paid during unpaid leave as well

$90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
