Housekeeping Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled housekeeping professional to join our team at a resort on the Bellarine Peninsula. This is a casual position with potential for additional hours during peak periods.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Clean rooms and other areas to meet health and guest standards, ensuring all surfaces and equipment are thoroughly sanitized and in good working order.
  • Carry linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies to designated areas, maintaining efficient workflow and minimizing waste.
  • Empty bins and transport waste to appropriate disposal areas, adhering to site protocols and regulations.
  • Inspect and maintain appliances, report any damage or issues to management.
  • Remove expired food from refrigerators and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Perform disinfection tasks, including equipment and storage areas, to prevent the spread of germs and illness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
About You:
  • Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing to a cohesive team environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
