Regional Lead (APS 6 level)

The Defence Force Transition Program is a needs-based program that provides transition and career coaching services to ADF members and their families across multiple military bases.

As a Regional Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of APS, ADF and contracted staff in the delivery of this program, including managing public speaking, stakeholder engagement, and conducting transition coaching sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff management and development, public speaking, stakeholder engagement, and conducting transition coaching sessions, including complex cases.
  • Liaison with key stakeholders, including Command, ADF members, and families.

JTA TCS delivers a range of programs and services to support members and their families in their transition to civilian life, including specialist advice, paid leave, and training.

We are looking for a motivated individual with experience in leading geographically dispersed teams, case management, life/career coaching, or similar.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams and staff development and performance management.
  • Experience in case management, life/career coaching, or similar.
  • A proven ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally.
  • Willingness to undertake further training as required.
  • Knowledge regarding transition and career coaching principles.
