Accounting Assistant

We are seeking an accounting assistant to join our finance team. This is a junior position that offers stability, variety, and career development in a fast-paced industry.

The successful candidate will assist with general ledger maintenance, data entry, reconciliations, financial reporting, and supporting the wider hotels division in meeting reporting deadlines.

  • Weekly sales postings and reconciliation of cash records across multiple venues
  • Bank statement uploads and reconciliations
  • Posting general ledger transactions and investigating discrepancies
  • Assist with weekly hotel dashboard and management reports
  • BAS/GST support and payroll ledger reviews
  • Liaise with management and internal teams to support finance operations
Requirements
  • 6–12 months experience in a similar role OR a relevant qualification in Accounting/Finance is preferred but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to use your own initiative
  • Positive attitude
