We are seeking a detail-focused Accounts Clerk to join a dynamic team supporting a multi-site hotel portfolio. This is a full-time permanent role based at our Brisbane Support Office, offering stability, variety, and career development in a fast-paced industry.
About the Role
This is a junior position, and an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a supportive and collaborative finance team. As an Accounts Clerk, you will assist with general ledger maintenance, data entry, reconciliations, financial reporting, and supporting the wider hotels division in meeting reporting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Weekly sales postings and reconciliation of cash records across multiple venues
- Bank statement uploads and reconciliations
- Posting general ledger transactions and investigating discrepancies
- Assist with weekly hotel dashboard and management reports
- BAS/GST support and payroll ledger reviews
- Liaise with management and internal teams to support finance operations
What We're Looking For
- 6–12 months experience in a similar role OR a relevant qualification in Accounting/Finance is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to use your own initiative
- Positive attitude
