Job Title: Storeperson

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storeperson to join our Food Services team at The SchoolHouse Education Australia Pty. As a Storeperson, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food services, including stock control, deliveries, and cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stock Control: Monitor and maintain stock levels of general and perishable goods and chemicals, place orders for additional stock items as required, and label items with storage details.
  • Deliveries: Accept delivery of stock, ensure stock is not damaged, and complete temperature checks for milk, bread, meat, and specified products.
  • Cleaning: Keep all store room, cold room, and freezer areas at the highest level of sanitation and cleanliness, and perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping.
  • Breakfast Service: Assist with breakfast service, including washing breakfast dishes and cutlery as required.
  • Functions: Package and send out completed orders for trips/functions, and deliver function items to offsite areas.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Must have experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, preferably in a school setting.
  • Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of current food safety practices and standards, infection control, manual handling, and hazard identification.
  • Qualifications: Must have a valid Working with Children Check, Police Check, and Current Full Driver's Licence for a manual vehicle.
