Job Overview

You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service by diagnosing, servicing, and repairing electrical systems in a wide range of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair faults in vehicle electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, ignition, battery, charging, and electronic control units (ECUs)
  • Service and repair passenger, light, and medium-duty commercial vehicles in accordance with fleet maintenance program requirements
  • Perform electrical upgrades and installations, including accessories and aftermarket systems
  • Maintain and repair workshop electrical equipment as required
  • Compile and maintain accurate service and diagnostic records

Requirements

  • Trade qualified Automotive Electrician or Mechanic with strong auto electrical experience
  • Proficient in diagnosing complex electrical and electronic faults using scan tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems, including CAN bus networks and engine management systems
  • Able to carry out work to a high standard in a safe and timely manner
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence
  • Able to complete pre-employment medical check and criminal record screening
