The Nepean Blue Mountains region offers high-quality public health services, and our after-hours team requires a skilled Nurse Manager to maintain efficient management of resources and staff at local hospitals.
About the Position
- You hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- You possess relevant tertiary qualifications in management or extensive post-graduate clinical experience in acute healthcare settings
- You have leadership and interpersonal skills, including motivation, delegation, negotiation, and knowledge of evidence-based acute health assessment, treatment, and care
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational management of nursing services during off-hours periods at local hospitals
- Lead and develop nursing staff, optimize resource allocation, and ensure high standards of patient care
- Implement policies, procedures, and bed management strategies to enhance patient flow and safety
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered care
